PeruOur godchildren in Peru Our godchildren in Peru are children from members of local Christian churches or non-Christian families. The structure of the sponsorships is under the responsibility of a couple belonging to one of the gatherings in Trujillo, a coastal town in northwestern Peru. They are teachers who act as volunteers to give an extracurricular help during the school holidays, taking this opportunity to announce the gospel in their neighborhood. They set up the following operation plan in their relations with the godchildren: - Visit them at home once a month - unless the opportunity is given to see them at church meetings. - Contact, each quarter, schools or colleges where they study to follow their education results. - Send them the letters and support that will be sent and generate thank responses.    |
